מאמר זה מתאר ומנתח יוזמה תיירותית של מדריכי טיולים פלסטינים מחברון, שהקימו ערוץ יוטיוב הנושא את השם "ילא מענא ע-פלסטין (يلا معانا ع فلسطين) בתרגום חופשי "בואו אתנו לפלסטין"), המציע סיורים רגליים מצולמים בשפה הערבית בחברון/אלח'ליל ובכל רחבי הגדה המערבית. הערוץ הוקם בתקופת הסגרים של מגפת הקורונה.

במוקד המאמר סיור שנערך וצולם בשכונת אלקזזאזין שבעיר העתיקה של חברון/אלח'ליל.[1] הפעילות התיירותית של מארגני הסיור נבחנת לאור מושג "המבט התיירותי" (Tourist Gaze), שטבע הסוציולוג ג'ון אורי (Urry). המושג מתאר את החוויה התיירותית כהבניה חברתית המבוססת בעיקרה על חוש הראייה ועל משטרי מבט, וכן לאור הפילוסופיה המרחבית של הפילוסוף מישל דה סרטו, הבוחנת את הזיקות בין אופני הידיעה והמרחב. במהלך הדיון אבקש להצביע על שורת המתחים המכוננים את המבט התיירותי הכפול בשכונת אלקזזאזין ואת המערכת הסמיוטית שהוא מזמן לצופים/תיירים. העיון בסיור מלמד על השפעת הסגרגציה הנאכפת על תושבי העיר העתיקה בשל הכיבוש הישראלי ועל זו הנובעת מִסיבות חברתיות ומעמדיות, על תוכני הסיורים של מדריכי "ילא מענא ע-פלסטין".

Representing the “lost steps”: Online tours by Palestinian tour guides in the Old City of Hebron/Al Khalil \ Ronit Hemyan

This article analyzes and describes the touristic initiatives of Palestinian tour guides from Hebron/Al-Khalil, who established a YouTube channel called Yalla Ma'ana e [Ala] Palestine (يلا معانا ع فلسطين). The channel, initiated during the COVID 19 closures, offers guided walking tours in Arabic that are filmed with a cellphone camera in Hebron/Al-Khalil and throughout the West Bank. The focus of this article is a particular tour conducted and photographed in the Alqazazin neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron/Al Khalil. The touristic performance of the tour guides has been analyzed by combining two conceptual frameworks. The first is based on the spatial philosophy of Michel de Certeau, which examines the relationship between modes of knowledge and space. The second applies the concept of the sociologist John Urry’s “tourist gaze (which describes the tourist experience as a social construction based mainly on the sense of sight), and gaze regimes. During the discussion, I highlight the line of tensions that constructs the double gazes in the Alqazazin neighborhood. The article shows how the narrative produced during the tour is affected by the segregation enforced by the Israeli occupation and the social alienation – an added circle of segregation – that the residents of Al-Khalil feel towards the residents of the Old City.
